At the origin of this olfactory variation: the meeting between the Guerlain FRAGRANCEr and the inhabitants of the highlands of Coimbatore in India. Thierry Wasser discovers a new essence of Vetiver there which immediately reminds him of Bourbon vetiver, which has since disappeared. Cultivated sustainably, it is used in majesty in Guerlain Homme L’Eau Boisée.
Through this vetiver from India, Thierry Wasser rediscovers the olfactory facets of the Bourbon vetiver native to Reunion and now disappeared. 

From this exchange was born a fragrance of intense freshness and an unforgettable character.

Modern in its geometry, rigorous in its form, the bottle, emblematic of the Guerlain men’s collection, and its luxurious wooden hood, are timeless figures of French elegance.
